Design Context Publication/ Content

So after remembering we have to also make a Design Context Publication and I have a list of content I want my book to contain as well as the layout, genre and design.

I want my book to be almost solely based on Packaging Design as this is something I have come to love over Third Year and has now become my specialist design area. I want the product to contain things that have inspired, influenced and motivated throughout Third year. So things such as studios who have inspired me, pieces of packaging design that have inspired me, work or studios that have inspired me, as well as various almost random things that have motivated me.

I want to interview 5-10 design studios who specialise in Packaging Design and find what it is they love about packaging and why they got into the industry. What excites them and what inspires them and what do they think are the most important things to consider when designing a piece of packaging.

I also want to have a section where I will analyse pieces of packaging that I love and explain why. I want the book to come packaged all nice so it stays relevant to the book itself. To be honest I think the packaging of the book will be more of a task and more fun!
