I found a genius way to make simple gift boxes for my product range which uses Origami (my obsession). Theres no need for glue and sticking, just folding! They are so simple to make and I have been applying my designs to them to see how they look.
The designs work really well on the gift boxes, I have made the bottom of the box using red card from the library as its a good weight to fold with. It also stops the box from being to busy by not having the design on the lid and the bottom of the box.
The beauty of this Origami box is that they are also easy to make in different sizes which again means I can broaden my product range.
I will also be foiling the gift boxes so that they fit with the other products. Not all of the hearts will be foiled on any of the designs. I want them to shimmer and not look too tacky.
When it comes to photographing the little box I was thinking of using Love Heart sweets or Haribo as an aid because it would look so cute!
