This is my response to the first Geek Table Brief. The brief was to represent our Geek skill by using our Geek skill.
My Geek skill is papercrafting and I also love Origami, so here we go:
The idea is that the Crane represents my love for Origami and it will then be cut out to show my love and skills within paper crafting. It will be about A3 size but with the crane fairly small, I want there to be a lot of negative space so that the crane really stands out once it has been cut out.
The Geek Table said that my design responded well to the brief. We discussed paper size and stock, I am going to be using a thick white card from the library at uni and have the final Crane laser cut to make it perfect.
